First action of SOLSTICIOS Y EQUINOCCIOS 2026–2027, a long-term sound performance project by Felipe Araya initiated in 2012. An improvised performance centered on the exact moment of the Summer Solstice, beginning 12 minutes before the astronomical event and ending 12 minutes after it. The action forms part of a one-year composition unfolding through five performances at the solstices and equinoxes of the Southern Hemisphere. This fourth iteration unfolds as a quartet between June 2026 and June 2027.
